Who doesn’t love a good thriller? And when you can bring teens and young adults into the genre, it makes it even better. We couldn’t put this one day and it was our favorite of the year!

Easy Target by Tim Shoemaker

A perfect, high-paced read for young adults dealing with bullying and the difficulties they face in school and the complications of social media. Easy Target starts out nice and slow, but in the best way, there isn’t too much action right away and for a YA/middle grade audience it has a nice pace.

Ted Dekker is a name several readers know for his suspense thrillers that bridge into the supernatural. His new middle grade series Millie Maven will bring young readers into his world and might even learn a thing or two.
