Tessa Afshar has crafted a unique and intriguing story that will take readers deep into the life of Queen Esther. These stories are great to read and transport readers deep into history with some of the greatest characters from the bible. Knowing these stories are fiction but also rooted in some truth will be a great way for readers to feel like they are getting to know these characters. Queen Esther was a great character for this story along with the secondary characters to bring it all to life and make me want to keep turning the pages.
