Another fantastic suspense, time-slip from Jaime Jo Wright that fans of her work will not want to miss.
In 1890, Waverly Pembrooke is left an orphan at Traeger Hall when her aunt and uncle are murdered. Her Uncle was a strange soul, and she is left with trying to figure out not only the puzzle of his murder but also the strange will he left behind leaving her with more questions than answers.
In present day Newton Creek, the town closest to Traeger Hall, people believe there is a curse deep within the property. Jennie Phillips gains ownership of the property after her mother dies and is determined to figure out the mystery behind the deaths and mysterious at Traeger Hall.
Jaime Jo Wright never disappoints. Anytime I pick up a book by her I know I am going to be in for a story that is unlike anything any other author writes. Her newest adventure will take readers on an action-packed thrill ride that kept me guessing what was going to happen until the very end. I love the way her books take me back and forth in very different timelines and still keep me interested in all that is happening. And by the end everything ties together beautifully. That is one of her best attributes as a writer, being able to tie up so many lose ends and keep the readers deep into the story and anting to see everyone come out safely on the other side. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a great suspense read.
