An Amish fiction that hits hard and kept me intrigued until the very end.
When Stephanie Miller witnesses a crime, she quickly finds a target on her back. Having lived in an Amish community all her life she isn’t sure what to do next. Stephanie finds help from Hardy Anderson, who agrees to help hid her until the killer can be found and she stays safe. Hardy quickly finds himself in danger as he helps Stephanie, not only is he now in danger, but he also can’t deny the feelings for Stephanie.
One thing I can always count on when I pick up an Amish fiction book is a surprise; they never turn out quite like I expect. I am always surprised by one aspect or another and in this case, it was the way I was on the edge of my seat throughout, not what you would expect when picking up an Amish fiction novel. Stephanie was a solid female protagonist that connected well with Hardy and the two of them had a great flow and relationship that kept my attention throughout. I would recommend this book to those that enjoy a good story with great characters at heart.
I received a complimentary copy of this title from the publisher. The views and opinions expressed within are my own.
